Mic-Drop Civil Engineering is a collaboration between the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering. The project aims to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and to create a number of context-based resources to improve Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering students’ appreciation for the relevance of Maths to their core discipline.

As part of the project, two structural engineering students discuss the importance of differential calculus and matrices in their degree and masters programmes in MTU Cork.
