For those in difficulties with their mathematical studies, MTU Cork provides targeted support in the form of the Academic Learning Centre. Here you can find an informal environment where your dedicated mathematics lecturer Dr Julie Crowley can help you with your specific difficulties in mathematics.

Whether you are a fresh faced first year student, a mature student or a repeat student, there is no time like the present to make a start on your learning. The pass rate of students attending ALC sessions is high so it is well worth attending at least one hour a week. All sessions are free of charge and prior booking is not necessary.
