A brief guide on the teaching of transposition of formulae was developed on foot of a request by our colleagues from applied disciplines.

One part of the guide explains how mathematicians approach teaching the topic. The second part makes suggestions on how to quickly re-iterate the main principles of the topic to students in a non-maths class.

Additionally, here you can find a Students’ Memento intended to help students brush-up their skills of rearranging equations. The memento is designed to look like an oversized bookmark. Print the memento in colour on A4 paper, fold in two and it’s ready to be given to students your class.
