Diagnostic Tests

See an example of a diagnostic test set up in MS Forms. You can give it to your students to try out and see how they react to it. The test can be run on a PC, tablet or mobile phone. It is recommended to equip the students with pen and paper prior to starting the test and encourage them to work the answers out for themselves before making a choice.

Note this is only a sample. If you would like to give this or similar tests to your students on a regular basis and gather statistics, you will need to set up a test yourself using MS Forms, Google Forms, Kahoot or similar platforms. Setting such tests is not too labourious but can provide plenty of useful feedback and help to adjust your teaching of the topic.
