David Goulding Profile

Dr David Goulding received a first class honours Joint Honours BSc in Mathematics and Physics in 2002, an MSc in Physics in 2005 and a PhD in 2011 from University College Cork (UCC). Having completed his doctoral research in October 2010, Dr Goulding took up a position as a postdoctoral researcher in Tyndall National Institute with Prof. Frank Peters. In 2013, he joined the Centre for Advanced Photonics and Process Analysis group in Cork Institute of Technology as a research fellow before taking up an academic lecturing position in the Department of Physical Sciences, Cork Institute of Technology, in January 2016. Dr Goulding had previously lectured in the School of Mathematical Sciences in University College Cork from 2010 to 2014. He joined the Department of Mathematics in CIT in December 2017.
